Fred Rogers’ Heroes: Who’s Helping America’s Children

In this 60-minute primetime special for adults, Fred Rogers defines his heroes as people who invest their lives in helping children. He introduces viewers to a Navajo elementary school principal in New Mexico, a dancer and choreographer who works with young people in central Los Angeles, an inner city Chicago leader who trains grade-school children in conflict resolution, and a director of a working farm in New York where troubled youth find healing in their interaction with animals.
